Mandatory Technical Recommendations

1 – Recommendations for IPE STOP-ONE and ATE STOP-ONE Products:

INSTALLATION OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC POLARITY REVERSER IPE STOP-ONE OR ATE STOP-ONE:

The device must be installed at least 1.50 meters away from any electrical source (except for outlets).
Installation height: between 25 cm and 1 meter from the floor.
The device must be hung on a wall like a painting and should not be moved. It must be placed on a load-bearing wall (not on plasterboard).
It is essential to know the dimensions of the property to determine if the effectiveness diameter of an IPE STOP-ONE or ATE STOP-ONE covers the entire building.
The device must remain plugged in at all times, with extremely low consumption (0.75W, or around €15/year).

REMOVAL OF COATING OR FILM-FORMING COVERINGS:

During the drying period, it is recommended to strip the lower parts of walls up to 10 cm above the area of degradation to allow the walls to “breathe.”

VENTILATION OF THE PROPERTY:

Proper ventilation is necessary as drying occurs partly through evaporation. Therefore, it is essential to install adequate ventilation and ensure that doors and windows comply with standards (1.5 cm undercut for dry rooms and 2 cm for humid rooms).

RESTORATION OF COATINGS AND PAINTING:

Once the walls are dry, it is essential to brush the surfaces to remove hygroscopic salts. For complete drying, we recommend replastering with lime, with an additive against hygroscopic salts.

INSTALLATION OF A DRAIN:

In cases of lateral infiltrations, it is recommended to install a drainage system to collect and remove groundwater before it reaches the foundations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Factors influencing the drying speed of walls include their thickness, composition, and coating, as well as adherence to recommendations. This process does not treat infiltrations, floods, or mold, which must be addressed separately.

The client acknowledges that following the recommendations provided by Humidité Conseil is mandatory to ensure product effectiveness. Failure to comply with these recommendations may void the warranty.

Our products are sold with a non-guarantee of results clause. Although we provide high-quality products, results may vary depending on environmental conditions and proper device use.

For any incorrect installation or usage, responsibility lies with the client.
